Hostal Casa Bocamar Playa La Boca, located in a very quiet place where you can only breathe peace

Hostal Casa Bocamar PLAYA LA BOCA is in a very quiet place, with a friendly neighborhood and where you can breathe peace. The beach is very close (5 minutes walking). The Guaurabo river flows into this beach, which is born in the Sierra del Escambray (800 meters above sea level in the Topes de Collantes Natural Park, Biosphere Reserve. From this river the knight Hernán Cortés set sail, directly to the conquest of Mexico, in 1518. At 10 km is the Ancón peninsula, where the beach with the same name (Playa Ancón) is located, famous for being recognized as the best beach in the South of Cuba. Just 10 minutes away (by car) you reach the city of Trinidad (a World Heritage Site since 1988), considered the best preserved colonial city in all of America.

The Hostal Casa Bocamar PLAYA LA BOCA is a family home, with a beautiful garden where you can find medicinal plants such as basil, linden, mint and chamomile (they will offer you to taste their teas, based on infusions made with their own plants aromatic and / or medicinal). There is a great variety of fruit trees (mangoes, guavas, bananas, sugar apple and coconut trees). The entire garden is cared for organically, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. They rent two rooms. Intimate, clean and surrounded by tranquility. They are equipped with air conditioning and have their own private bathrooms. In spring, birds such as the woodpecker, the tomeguín, or the hummingbird visit the garden.

The hosts of the Hostal Casa Bocamar PLAYA LA BOCA are (as you may have already discovered) lovers of nature (and especially botany). They are kind, cordial and outgoing and you can count on their help to coordinate excursions, hire guides, go on excursions, or whatever you need. Excellent continental breakfasts and lunches or dinners based on seasonal and market products (especially fish and seafood). Home cooking and generous dishes with typical Cuban flavors.
